Returns & Refunds
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If something isn't right, you can return most items within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Here's how it works.
Our 30-day return policy
You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return. To be eligible, items should be:
- Unused and in the same condition you received them
- In their original packaging, with any tags, manuals and accessories included
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (your order number or confirmation email)
How to start a return
Starting a return is simple:
- Email support@ziphardware.com with your order number and the item(s) you'd like to return.
- Tell us briefly why you're returning it — this helps us improve and, in the case of a defect, resolve it faster.
- We'll reply within one business day with return instructions and the return address.
Please don't send items back before contacting us — returns received without prior authorization may be delayed.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you to confirm. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take a few additional days for the refund to appear on your statement.
Shipping is free on every order, so there's nothing to refund there on our side.
Damaged, defective or wrong items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, or you received the wrong item, we'll make it right at no cost to you. Email support@ziphardware.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue, and we'll arrange a replacement or a full refund — your choice. You won't be asked to pay return shipping for our error or a defective product.
Return shipping
For returns due to a change of mind or another non-defective reason, you're responsible for return shipping costs unless we tell you otherwise. For damaged, defective or incorrect items, we cover it.
Non-returnable items
A few items can't be returned, for health, safety or practical reasons, including:
- Items marked as final sale or clearance
- Products that have been used, installed, assembled or modified
- Gift cards
If you're unsure whether your item qualifies, just ask before you buy or before you return.
Exchanges
The fastest way to exchange an item is to return the original (following the steps above) and place a new order for the item you want. If you need help, we're glad to walk you through it.
