Warranty

We stand behind the products we sell. Every item from ZipHardware is covered by our limited warranty against manufacturing defects, so you can buy with confidence.

What's covered

Our limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If a product fails because of a manufacturing defect, we'll repair it, replace it, or refund it — whichever makes the most sense for the situation.

Warranty period

Unless a longer manufacturer's warranty applies, ZipHardware products are covered for 30 days from the date of delivery against defects. Many products also carry a separate manufacturer's warranty that extends beyond this period — if yours does, the details will be included with the product or available on request.

Dead-on-arrival items — products that don't work right out of the box — are always covered. Just contact us within 7 days of delivery.

What's not covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or gradual deterioration over time
  • Damage from misuse, abuse, accidents, improper installation, or failure to follow instructions
  • Damage from unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Consumable or wear parts (such as blades, bits and batteries) past their expected life
  • Products lost or stolen after delivery

How to file a warranty claim

Filing a claim is easy:

  • Email support@ziphardware.com with your order number and a description of the problem.
  • Include photos or a short video showing the defect if possible — this helps us resolve your claim quickly.
  • We'll review and reply within one business day with the next steps.

Manufacturer warranties

Some products are also covered directly by their manufacturer. Where a manufacturer's warranty applies, we'll help you connect with them or handle the claim on your behalf whenever we can.

Your rights

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights under applicable consumer-protection laws, which vary by state. Nothing in this warranty limits those rights.
