Welcome to ZipHardware. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ziphardware.com (the "Site") and any purchases you make. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Who we are

The Site is operated by ZipHardware ("we," "us," or "our"). You can reach us anytime at support@ziphardware.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to enter into a binding contract in order to purchase from us. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Products, pricing and availability

We work to display our products, descriptions and prices accurately, but we don't warrant that all content is error-free. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change at any time. Products are subject to availability, and we may limit quantities, discontinue items, or correct errors — including pricing errors — at any time without notice. If we cancel an order because of a pricing or availability error, we'll notify you and refund any payment in full.

Product images are for illustration and may differ slightly from the item you receive.

4. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. After you place it, we'll send an order confirmation acknowledging that we received it. That confirmation does not by itself guarantee acceptance — a binding contract is formed only when we ship your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including suspected fraud, errors, or unavailability.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely through Square. By providing payment information, you represent that you're authorized to use the payment method. You authorize us, through our processor, to charge the total order amount, including any applicable taxes. We do not store your full card details.

6. Shipping and delivery

We ship free on every order. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and we're not liable for delays outside our control. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. For full details, see our Shipping & Delivery policy.

7. Returns and refunds

Most items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to our Returns & Refunds policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

8. Warranty

Our products are covered by the limited warranty described on our Warranty page. Except as expressly stated there, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, products are provided "as is."

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Except as expressly provided, the Site and all products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZipHardware and its owners, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any product. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation or security, to attempt unauthorized access, or to use automated tools to scrape or copy content without our permission.

12. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos and images — is owned by ZipHardware or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from it without our written permission.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
